Join us and the Finger Lakes Cycling Club for the shortest ride on the shortest day of the year! We will start at the Ithaca Children's Garden, go on the Cayuga Waterfront Trail, and end the ride downtown for food and a drink or two. Bring your own bike, with as many shiny and blinky things you can bedazzle it with!
Break your cabin fever and come out to Cinemapolis for a night of inspirational bike films from Ithaca, the US, and abroad! A mix of short films hand-picked from the Internet as well as a selection from Portland's Filmed By Bike Festival will be shown on the big screen. Come early and get FREE popcorn, and stay for the conversation.
Your favorite event is back to kick off a new season of walking, biking, rolling, dancing, and playing! Streets Alive is when we close the streets to cars and open them up to people. Join us all along North Cayuga St from Ithaca High School to Court St to GIAC.
What better day is there to start biking to work or school than on Bike to Work & School Day? Stations are set up all over Ithaca and Cornell for you to grab FREE breakfast and enter into a raffle for cool stuff. Visit bikingsmart.com to learn more about the event and come to our station in front of The Dewitt Mall.
After Streets Alive! on the Southside, a temporary traffic calming project was tested at the corner of Clinton and Plain Streets. This open house offered an opportunity to learn more about the project and to give your thoughts on how to build a community where walking and biking are safe and comfortable.
