Bike Skills I: Learn-To-Ride

Molly is a nationally certified Recreation Therapist, specializing in making outdoor recreation opportunities accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. As the founding director of an accessible recreation program in southern New Hampshire, Molly has over 20 years of experience teaching children and adults to swim, ski, paddle, and bike. She’s very excited to partner with Bike Walk Tompkins on free learn-to-ride classes for people who may have never learned to bike or haven’t bicycled in a long time.

Bike Skills II: Handling & Parking lot Play

Shane is an endurance athlete and coach based out of Island Health & Fitness who hasn’t lost touch with the playful fun that can be had on a bicycle. In the past, Shane has traveled extensively to teach and coach. Now at 60+ years young, he prefers to remain local and enjoys a strong sense of community. He’s looking forward to help people at all stages of life be more mindful of their balance on a bicycle so they feel more stable and confident riding wherever they may go.

Bike Skills III: On-Street Riding

Vikki is the Director of Bike Walk Tompkins and also a League Cycling Instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists. Vikki has taught bicycling to people of all ages and abilities in addition to the bike advocacy projects she has organized and developed over the years at BWT. Through the Bike Skills III course, she wants to spread the joy of bicycling to people by sharing her the knowledge and skills to ride on the street confidently and safely.
